About MIRA DEVI:
Mira Devi's music can best be described as east west folk for the heart. Born and raised in Long Island, her early musical influences included Harry Chapin, John Denver, The Band, and Neil Young. In the early 1990's she moved to Boulder, and spent years performing at ski areas and local coffee house venues. Part kirtan artist, part singer/songwriter, part storyteller, her music speaks to the heart and draws listeners in. Accompanied by her ever faithful 1947 Martin, her arrangements are lush and rhythmic, working equally well solo or in full band mode with danceable, detoxifying grooves.
